Opportunities for inclusive diffraction at EIC

The possibilities for inclusive diffraction in the Electron Ion Collider, EIC, US, are analyzed. We find that thanks to excellent forward proton tagging, EIC will be able access a wider kinematical range of longitudinal momentum fraction and transfer leading than at HERA. This opens up possibility measure subleading diffractive exchanges. extended t-range would allow precise extraction 4-dimensional reduced cross section diffraction. In addition, varying beam energy setups measurements structure function.
